About Pana First Kids

We love partnering with parents to help kids grow in their faith and experience the love of Jesus in a fun, engaging way. Our Kids Ministry provides a safe, welcoming environment where children can learn, build friendships, and take steps in their spiritual journey. We use Ministry Safe for training and guidance, and all of our leaders have completed background checks to ensure your child’s safety and well-being. First-time families will receive a parent packet with helpful information and a place to provide contact details so we can serve you well. Throughout the week, kids can be part of Sunday School, Children’s Church, and The Best Night Ever on Wednesday nights, along with special events and activities throughout the year. Our heart is to create a place where every child feels known, loved, and excited to grow in their relationship with God.

Your first visit

When your child visits our Kids Ministry for the first time, you can expect a smooth, welcoming, and secure check-in experience. Our team will help you get registered, and you’ll receive a parent packet with important information while providing contact details so we can serve your family well. Your child will be placed in an age-appropriate environment where they’ll enjoy engaging lessons, fun activities, and caring leaders who are excited to connect with them. For your child’s safety, we ask that parents or guardians personally drop off and pick up their children, and we only release kids to authorized adults. This helps us ensure every child is cared for in a safe and secure environment from start to finish.

Safety

Volunteers at Pana First Kids are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check and the kids hallway is monitored by security personnel, as well as security cameras. Don't worry parents - we've got this!

What We Teach

Our Children’s Ministry uses trusted, approved curriculum from The Foundry; the Nazarene publishing house, along with materials developed and reviewed by our Discipleship Ministries Coordinator and pastoral team. Each lesson is carefully chosen to be biblically sound, age-appropriate, and engaging for kids. Our goal is to ensure every child is learning God’s Word in a consistent, meaningful, and Christ-centered way.
